The 2U network security appliance 1ST-F58224R with Intel® Xeon® W-1200/1300 CPU or Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 processor and up to 4x LAN expansion modules for max. 32 LAN ports is a robust device for demanding environments.

With 4x 2033/3200 MHz DDR4 DIMM slots up to 128GB DRAM, 2x Intel® 2.5G GbE RJ-45 ports with Intel® Ethernet Controller I225-V, 4x PCIe x8 slots for up to 4 LAN Expansion Modules the Appliance caters a powerful base for Firewall-Applications and IDS/IPS-Systems.

2x SATA3.0 3.5" HDD mounting frames, an mSATA slot and an M.2 slot for SSDs enable multiple storage options. The two 3.5" bays in particular enable the use of storage media with very large capacities. With 2 height units and an installation depth of only 50 cm, it can also be operated as a desktop device in addition to rack mounting.
Various LAN modules are available for use, ranging from 4x RJ-45 Gb Ethernet ports with the LAN module 35N4 or 4x SFP GbE ports with LAN module 35F4 abased on the Intel® Ethernet Controller I350-AM4 via 4x 10 Gb SFP ports with the LAN module 71W4 to a 2x 40 Gb QSFP+ LAN module 71Q2 with Intel® XL710 Ethernet Controller. For a high port density with 8 ports per module are available the LAN modules 35N8 and 35F8 with RJ-45 or SFP ports.
The BYPASS functionality for the fiber optic connections is implemented with the LAN modulel 59B2 (10 Gb) with 2x SFP ports with optical BYPASS. The LAN module
59W2 (10 Gb) offers 2x SFP+ ports based on the Intel® 82599ES Ethernet controller.
With the LAN module 35N8 you get 8 GbE RJ-45 LAN ports based on the Intel® I350 controller and with the LAN module 35F8 correspondingly 8 SFP ports.

Thanks to the modular hardware concept, the number of network ports and the type of connection (cable, fiber, 1Gb, 10Gb, 40Gb) can be adapted at any time.
This hardware firewall appliance is compatible with Windows, Linux and FreeBSD, so you can use various firewall software or IDS/IPS software on the devices to protect your network.

A redundant 550W power supply ensures smooth 24/7 operation.
